The City of Mingus approved a minimum base water rate of $37.00 an increase of $9 for the first 1,000 gallons of use during our October meeting.
We called a public hearing to order October the 8th at 6:00PM and there were no objections.
The council voted to approve the base increase beginning January 2026, but due to the freeze, we made a decision to delay the increase until February 2026.
Water bills will show an increase from $28.00 per month to $37.00.
