The Bearden Roping Arena is open and will have events on the 3rd weekend starting February 21.
Mingus pedestrian trail system using old alleys and roads to keep people safe and provide an alternate route to get around Mingus. This is still in the planning phases, public input is welcome.
Mingus Trail system that will connect the new Palo Pinto Mountains State Park and the Mineral Wells Lake Trailhead. The trail will go thru Strawn, Mingus, and Gordon allowing for pedestrian access to both state parks and Milo Moffit Park in Mingus. https://mingustrails.com/
33 acre Tri-City Park
The City of Mingus has acquired 33 acres for a city park (Milo Moffit Park) here in Mingus between Hwy 108 and Parsons Rd along Gibson Creek. We are working with Texas Parks and Wildlife for guidance and funding.
08/13/2025: Waiver of Retro-activity granted by the National Park Service and TPWD.
09/05/2025: Property purchased.
