Checklist for new residential property that does not have any improvements.
- A current survey will be required to obtain a building permit.
- A permit is required for any new buildings, houses, or structures and can be obtained at City Hall during normal business hours.
- An approved septic system permit from Palo Pinto county is required before getting water service.
- For new water service, you will need to get a tap installed and a meter.
- If there is an existing tap with an old water service meter, you will need to get a new meter installed by the city.
- For electrical service, you will need to contact Texas New Mexico Power.
